The below table shows all income and expenses regarding the Regional OC1 Champs held on 5 December 2009 at Onepoto, Porirua.
Hoe Tonga is releasing this information to provide transparency about how race fees are used.

Note that Hoe Tonga runs races on a not-for-profit and break-even basis. That means that at the very least all costs regarding an event have to be covered by race fees (and/or other event specific sources, e.g. sponsorship). Any surplus is re-invested into the sport for the benefit of all.
You will note that following the OC1 Champs Hoe Tonga was left with a surplus of $57.50. In it’s the meeting on 7 December, the Hoe Tonga Committee decided to invest this money to contribute to the purchase of its first VHF radio to improve the running and safety of future races.
