Get ready for this year’s Hoe Tonga Paddler Series 2023, designed to attract new paddlers to our sport, and to enable paddlers and teams to race during the winter season. The Series is overseen by Hoe Tonga, but each individual race is hosted and organised by member clubs or event organisers.
Please note that race details are subject to change. Please keep an eye on updates regarding any of the races.

What a beautiful day it was. The water was glistering, the ducks were singing and the waka were flying. Officially our biggest secondary schools event ever!! Wooohoooo!!! That is Massive!! Well done everyone
We want to take this time to thank David Fa’atafa at College Sport Wellington for working with all the College’s in our Hoe Tonga region. Also to Te Wānanga o Aotearoa and Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Wairarapa for the usage of your waka. To all of the whānau that volunteered your time out on the loading bay or anywhere else, thank you so much. Lastly Wairarapa Waka Ama club, thank you very much for hosting us and to our Hoe Tonga Board team for putting on an awesome event as always.
Congratulations goes out to Cullinane College for winning the Hoe Tonga Spirit Award and Manukura winning our school Excellence award. Kei runga noa atu koutou.
